Prior to October 2011, Medway Citizens Advice Bureau were located in two separate offices in Medway, one in Chatham and the other in Gillingham. Having secured a new office in Gillingham large enough for everyone Impreza were tasked with merging the two networks into one, inluding the management of email for multiple domains which were already in use.
We had been providing IT support to both offices for several months at this point, so we gained a strong understanding of the network. At the prearranged dates, the new office network was created by merging the content from both servers and configuring all document sharing, email and printing to run on one server. Every workstation required attention of some sort to bring online, but all was achieved on time so the users could work as planned.
Our engineers were on site to get everything running and to provide go-live support immediately afterwards.
