Our Client Says...
Marcus Webb, Lavenders' Proprietor, said; "from the initial tender process to the completed installation of the wireless network, the professional and knowledgeable service provided by Impreza was exemplary. They were awarded the contract because of the competitive price and the technical solution provided; it also gave us a clear indication as to what we were actually getting and how it would work." The installation went very smoothly and the end result has provided a resilient cost effective flexible wireless network which was delivered on time, within budget, and to specification.
The Problem

Lavenders, a large Residential Care Home in West Malling Kent, secured a substantial grant from the Get Connected Fund to enable it to improve access for residents, carers, visitors and staff to information and communications technology (ICT) so they can use the power of the internet to communicate, learn and train.  Impreza were invited along with a number of other IT companies to quote. for the installation of a wireless network.

The Solution

Following a site feasibility study, we developed a wireless implementation strategy that took into consideration the complex building layout. Due to the building comprising a number of narrow corridors, it was important to position the access points at locations where the signal could be sufficiently balanced.

We installed 13 wireless access points, which were managed by a central wireless controller. This device allows the access points to provide the strongest signal to the user, wherever they are located within the building. The wireless controller also provides an administration interface, allowing Lavenders staff to manage who has access to the wireless network.

We'd love to get together to discuss how we can help. Call us today to get the ball rolling. 01634 299800
